MicroCenter has the Acer A100 7in tablet on sale for $50 off at $279…….
I;ve been tempted to get a tablet ever since the deal on the HP Touchpads but wanted something more up to date and with the latest Android operating system (Honeycomb 3.2) ect. and ran into this deal. Picked me one up the other night and it seems like a pretty decent tablet. Its wi-fi only (no 3G) and only has an 8gb hard drive but unlike other tablets this one takes micro HD cards so you can increase the storage space. Everything else I on the net with Honeycomb 3.2 was priced in the $500 range and this one is pretty much about half that. The only complaint I have is the battery only last about 4-5 hrs but that inst really any big deal to me. It has access to the Android Market for tons of useful apps and you aint closed out of it like with the Android knock-offs like the BlackBerry Playbook, HP Touchpad, and that new Amazon Kindle Fire job where you’ll be stuck with Amazon. It also has a built in GPS, micro hdmi out out and a lot of other extra little goodies you don’t get with the others. It also has a lot of good reviews on Amazon……..
