The Akron Zoo in Akron, OH will be offering Half-Price 1 Year Zoo memberships via Groupon on Sunday, February 6th. I did a Google search on other zoos that have done Groupon promotions, and the Akron Groupon will be the cheapest annual zoo membership around (low $30′s or less). Many zoos charge $75-$125 for an annual zoo membership, so depending on where you live, savings could be more than 50%!
As a bonus, with an Akron Zoo membership, you can take advantage of the free and reduced-price admission offered by hundreds of other zoos. I have included the link to the AZA Reciprocity list; Read the details for each zoo before visiting. Regionally, the Toledo, Erie and Pittsburgh zoos offer free reciprocal admission to Akron Zoo Members. On the AZA zoo list, any zoo listed at 100% is free with an Akron Zoo membership
