For those FWers in the snowy climes needing to stock up on a snow roof rake before the snows hit and the rakes disappear off the shelves……..

BJs has the highly rated (see reviews at Amazon link below), made in the USA, Garelick 21′ Snow Roof Rake with shingle saver wheels, on sale for $39.99. Buy it in-store to save on S/H. A lot of the Amazon reviewers complained about the supplied bolts with lock washers which used to come off during use. Garelick seems to have heard them and now includes machine screws with lock nuts.

Folks with 2-storey homes needing extra length (let the jokes begin) can buy two rakes for $79.98 which is still cheaper than buying 1 rake + 2 five foot extension poles from either Amazon or RoofRake. This gives you an extra rake head and associated hardware.
